Let the debates begin

Hello students. Now that you have become more familiar with the Electoral College system in our country, let us have a debate! In class tomorrow I will divide the class into two groups. One group will be for maintaining the electoral college system. The other group will explain why the direct election of the president is better. Whoever has the best arguments for their side and against the other side will be the winner! I will decide who made the best arguments and that group will receive extra credit points, apart from the points both groups will be getting for doing the assignment. I will handout some more detailed guidelines for you tomorrow. You will have the opportunity to work on this assignment with your groups tomorrow and on Friday. I will be there if you have any questions. Debates will begin Monday.
